CIA and Israelis behind tension on Nicaraguan-Costa Rican border...

November , 2010 -- CIA and Israelis behind tension on Nicaraguan-Costa Rican border...

** U.S. and Israeli mercenaries and provocateurs continue plan for Contra War II against Nicaragua....

Obama has given green light for cross-border guerrilla raids into Nicaragua....

WMR has learned from multiple informed sources that the tension on the Costa Rican-Nicaraguan border is a prelude to a renewed CIA- and Israeli-backed Contra War against the government of Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega.

After successfully overthrowing Honduran President Manuel Zelaya last year, the neocons and their natural allies, the Israelis, have their sights trained on Nicaragua. Honduras and Costa Rica are now swarming with current and ex-U.S. and Israeli special forces commandos and intelligence operatives who are gearing up for covert forays by U.S. and Israeli trained and equipped exiled Nicaraguan irregulars and mercenaries drawn from abroad.

As one informed source put it, "it reads like a bad re-run of the Iraq campaign . . . [they are making] preparations for another conflict on the basis of 'completing the job left unfinished 20 years ago," as the neo-cons understand it . . . they can't sell this war to the American public, so they have to go covert and use proxies."

And covert proxies are the order of the day in places like San Jose, the Costa Rican capital, and in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras, along with the small towns and villages that dot the borders of both countries with Nicaragua. Ex-CIA and Israeli Defense Force trainers are numerous in both countries, with proxies from Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Peru being trained in guerrilla tactics, including sniper operations, planting and detonating explosives, automatic weapons firing training, and hand-to-hand combat, to wage a new Contra War against Nicaragua. Some of the training is also being carried out in Jewish-owned military training complexes in Argentina.

In some cases, the training of the Nicaraguan neo-Contras is done under the guise of counter-narcotics operations and Honduran and Costa Rican police training. Costa Rica's ambassador to the UN, Saul Weisleder, who, like Costa Rican Vice President Luis Lieberman Ginsburg, is an arch-Zionist and supporter of Israel, is in charge of stoking anti-NIcaragua tension with New York heavily Jewish-influenced media over the issue of a border dispute between Costa Rica and Nicaragua over disputed territory in the San Juan River. Google, which is increasingly being used as a tool for the CIA and U.S. intelligence community, has claimed that Google maps showing the disputed territory to be Nicaraguan, not Costa Rican, were "in error."

Costa Rica's encroachment on Nicaraguan territory appears to take a page from the encroachment polices used by illegal Jewish settlers in east Jerusalem and the West Bank, and acre-by-acre plan by Costa Rica to slowly, but steadily, move in on Nicaraguan rain forests and inland waterways.

There are several flash points along the Costa Rican-Nicaraguan border being prepared by the U.S. and Israeli covert operations teams for penetration into Nicaragua. They include the area around Santa Cruz. Also logistics bases are being established deeper within Costa Rica, with the assistance of the Costa Rican Direccion de Inteligencia y Seguridad Nacional(DIS) intelligence service, for use by U.S. and Israeli operatives to ship in men and supplied for the planned cross-border incursions into Nicaragua. One base is planned at Mal Pais, at the southwestern tip of Costa Rica's Nicoya peninsula. Another is Nosara, further up the west coast of Costa Rica, and Playa del Coco, which is even closer to Nicaragua and close to the airport in Liberia, Costa Rica, which can handle military transports. Israeli operatives are planning to establish well-guarded safe zones in western Costa Rica to protect their operations from retaliatory attacks by Nicaraguan forces and those of its allies, including Venezuela, El Salvador, and Ecuador.

The word from Central America is: it is not a question if the U.S. and Israel will launch a second Contra War against Nicaragua, but when.....

Barack Obama follows Ronald Reagan into another Contra milieu.

WMR has received additional intelligence from Costa Rica that points to increased activity by Israeli and American paramilitary forces who are planning to launch cross-border raids and other operations into Nicaragua to destabilize the nation prior to next year's presidential election. Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega, who is running for re-election, and his Sandinista government are the primary targets of the U.S.-Israeli operation, which has been approved by the Obama administration and is being carried out with the support of the U.S. Southern Command in Miami and the CIA.

The pretext for the Contra II war is the border "conflict" between Costa Rica and Nicaragua, a conflict that is being manufactured by Israeli assets high up in the Costa Rican government of President Laura Chinchilla. Most of the anti-Nicaraguan activity in Costa Rica is centered in San Jose, and, WMR is told, by informed sources, includes operatives of the Israeli security company Bitajon Shar, described as a Mossad front.

The Israeli paramilitary cells in Costa Rica are being assisted by members of the Colombian and Mexican drug cartels, including Colombian Medellin cartel veterans associated with Israeli terrorist mercenary Yair Klein, recently freed from a Russian prison and allowed to return to Israel after Russia refused an extradition request from Colombia.

The Israelis and Americans are also using drug cartels in Honduras to plan operations against Nicaragua. Narcotics smugglers now operate with impunity in post-coup Honduras and with the assistance of U.S. and Israeli intelligence who use some of the profits to pay for weapons being distributed to the neo-Contras staged on the border to enter Nicaragua. One of the reasons Honduran President Manuelo Zelaya was ousted in the 2009 military coup was his operations against the narcotics cartels in his country. Honduras and Israel recently signed a security cooperation agreement targeting "terrorists" that will open up the country to additional Israeli personnel.

The Israelis in Costa Rica and Honduras serve as the liaison to the Mexican drug cartels who, in turn, are run by the Russian-Israeli Mafia. Although not exclusively Russian, the mob is predominantly Jewish and eastern European with a small percentage of "fake Jews" who claim the religion in order to secure the benefits of Israeli affiliation and other favors. In any event, the Israeli government works closely with the mafia members, whether they are legitimate Jews or not, because they have intelligence value to the Mossad and other Israeli security agencies. Israel is careful not to allow some of these Mafia members into Israel. Many of the Russian Jewish mobsters fled Russia after the crackdown on their activities by Vladimir Putin.

The ground zero for the Israeli-Costa Rican-narco gang operations is reportedly the disputed Calero Island on the Costa Rican-Nicaraguan border. Costa Rican developers, including river dredging engineers with the Israeli Tahal Group in San Jose, have been active in encroaching on Nicaraguan territory. Tahal was involved with the Mossad in the first CIA-led Contra War against Nicaragua in the 1980s. Since Costa Rica does not guard who enters the disputed zone, the area has been inundated with narco-gangsters and mercenaries planning their incursions deeper into Nicaragua. A small island at the tip of Calero Island, called Harbor Head, is a flash point between Nicaraguan and Costa Rican forces. Costa Rica claims Harbor Head as its territory.

Although Google, whose ties with the CIA are well-established, recently said its Google maps showing Nicaraguan control over disputed border territory was a "mistake," Nicaragua is pursuing its own surveys of the disputed zones with the help of Venezuela.

Meanwhile, Nicaragua is being inundated with narcotics with the purpose of destabilization from both Honduras and Costa Rica. The operations are being assisted by anti-Ortega businessmen and bankers in Miami and senior officials of the Costa Rican government. Costa Rican anti-drug police stand idly by as the drugs are being transported into Nicaragua....

December , 2010 -- US propaganda against Ortega in Nicaragua evident in leaked cable

Trivelli's agenda exposed in cable.....
WMR has been reporting on plans by the United States and its client state allies of Israel, Costa Rica, and Honduras to launch a new Contra War against Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega in the run up to next year's presidential election, in which Ortega is standing for re-election.

A May 5, 2006, cable from the U.S. embassy in Managua provides more proof of the hostility of Washington to Managua through a vintage American propaganda assault on Ortega, his Sandinista party, and his other political allies.

On November 6, 2006, WMR reported on the pre-2006 election activities of the U.S. ambassador to Nicaragua Paul Trivelli and Iran-contra felon Oliver North in the political campaign, one that Ortega won:

"Former Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega has bested his three rivals in the Nicaraguan presidential race, winning 40 percent of the vote, five points higher than the 35 percent required to avoid a run-off. Ortega's victory was in spite of the interference in the election by Iran-Contra felon Oliver North and the neo-con International Republican Institute.

Both North and U.S. ambassador to Nicaragua Paul Trivelli endorsed the conservative candidate, the international banking class candidate Eduardo Montealegre, in a blatant display of foreign interference in Nicaragua's political process. Montealegre received 33 percent of the vote. Trivelli, a career foreign service officer, has long interfered with Latin American domestic politics, having helped shepherd the election of Honduran Central Bank president Ricardo Maduro while Deputy Chief of Mission in Tegucigalpa in 2002. Trivelli also served in El Salvador, Panama, Mexico, and Ecuador as well as the Director of the Office of Central American Affairs from July 2002 to November 2003."

With Zionist Cuban gusano Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) scheduled to take over as chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, there is already an increase in right-wing propaganda from her and her colleagues directed against Latin American progressive governments, including Nicaragua, Venezuela, Ecuador, Argentina, and Brazil.

Trivelli's propaganda cable follows:

1. (SBU) In preparation for the November 2006 national
elections in Nicaragua, post has developed three "rap sheets"
on the records of Daniel Ortega, the Sandinista party (FSLN)
and Arnoldo Aleman, highlighting their systematic crimes and
abuses. The rap sheets contain short summaries of the crimes
and abuses committed, as well as details on the sources of
the information. Post intends to use the information from
these rap sheets in discussions with domestic and
international interlocutors as a means of reminding
Nicaraguan voters and others of the true character of Aleman,
Ortega, and the Sandinistas. While the summaries themselves
are unclassified, some of the sources of information are SBU.
Post will distribute the summaries to appropriate contacts,
but not the sources. Post is sending both the summaries and

the sources to the Department and other Washington agencies
for similar uses. This cable focuses on the crimes of Daniel
Ortega and his family. Septels will cover the FSLN and

The Murder of Jean-Paul Genie by the bodyguards of Humberto
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

2. (U) In October 1990, security guards working for Humberto
Ortega, Daniel,s brother and the former FSLN Army Commander,
used automatic weapons to kill Jean-Paul Genie (age 16) when
Genie tried to pass Humberto,s convoy on what is now the
Masaya Highway. The FSLN used its control of the judiciary
and the police to cover up the crime, and no one was ever
held accountable for Genie,s murder.

3. (SBU) Sources: media accounts of the 1990 shooting of
Jean Paul Genie, personal testimony by Raymond Genie (the
father of Jean Paul), legal documents filed by the Genie
family in Nicaragua and with the Inter-American Commission on
Human Rights (IACHR).

Ordering of Torture, Killings, and Mass Murder
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

4. (U) Daniel and Humberto Ortega participated in the FSLN
leadership council that collectively ordered the arrest and
torture of thousands of people at prisons and prison camps
all over Nicaragua. The largest torture camp for political
prisoners was in what is now the free trade zone near
Managua,s airport. The Ortega brothers and their FSLN
associates also ordered numerous murders and disappearances,
including the killings of hundreds of Miskitos on the
Atlantic coast and the internment of thousands more in
concentration camps in 1981 and 1982.

5. (SBU) Sources: thousands of complaints filed with the
CPDH human rights organization throughout the 1980s,
testimony of Miskito survivors and torture victims, annual
State Department Human Rights reports, documents on
investigations carried out by the IACHR during the 1980s.

Rape and Sexual Abuse of Step-daughter
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

6. (U) In 1998 Zoilamerica Narvaez, the daughter of Rosario
Murillo and the step-daughter of Daniel Ortega, made
allegations that Ortega had raped and sexually abused her
over a period of many years. However, Ortega used his
immunity as a National Assembly deputy and his control of the
courts to ensure that the case never went to trial. Having
ensured he would never face trial, Ortega then actively
sabotaged all efforts by the Nicaraguan government to provide
justice to Narvaez and used his mother and Rosario Murillo in
a public relations campaign intended to bury the allegations.

7. (U) Such misogynistic attitudes are common in the FSLN,
as is the tolerance of domestic and sexual violence. When
FSLN National Assembly deputies voted to lower the criminal
penalties for statutory rape in March 2006, FSLN deputy
Nathan Sevilla justified the vote by stating that sex with
minors was "normal" in rural Nicaragua and thus should not be
considered a serious crime.

8. (SBU) Sources: personal testimony of Zoilamerica, legal
documents filed by Zoilamerica in Nicaraguan institutions

(including the courts, the police and the office of the Human
Rights Ombudsman) and the IACHR, media records of Ortega's
"public relations" campaign using Rosario Murillo and his own

Protection and Blackmail of Fellow Alleged Rapist Ricardo

9. (U) In September 2004, boxer Ricardo Mayorga allegedly
raped a young woman in a Managua hotel. Sensing an
opportunity to blackmail Mayorga, Ortega and the FSLN agreed
to protect the boxer in the courts if he would give the party
a large portion of his international boxing winnings and
"advertise" for Daniel in public. Mayorga agreed, and an
FSLN judge found him not guilty in December. Much of
Mayorga,s winnings now reportedly go to Ortega, and when
Mayorga fought in Chicago in August 2005, he dedicated the
fight to Daniel, wore the FSLN colors, and flashed the number
of the FSLN slot on the Nicaraguan electoral ballot
("casilla") to the international media.

10. (SBU) Sources: media accounts of Mayorga,s arrest,
trial, his public "pro-Daniel" comments and his August 2005
fight, private testimony offered by lawyers involved in the
case, testimony of the rape victim.

Daniel Ortega a Thief like Aleman

11. (U) Property Confiscations: After the victory of the
revolution in 1979, Daniel immediately confiscated the
Managua residence of current National Assembly deputy Jaime
Morales. Ortega subsequently stole other houses and property
surrounding the Morales residence and created his own private
compound on an entire block in downtown Managua.

12. (U) The Pinata Phenomenon: After the FSLN lost the
election in 1990 but before it handed over power to Dona
Violeta, Ortega supervised the theft of billions of dollars
worth of land and state-owned companies that went to his
immediate family, Humberto Ortega and other prominent
Sandinistas. Other companies involved in transportation,
lumber, sugar mills, and slaughterhouses nominally went to
the FSLN, but effectively ended up in the hands of Ortega,
his family, and their closest associates.

13. (SBU) Sources: Nicaraguan government property records
document the Pinata and the 1980s confiscations in great
detail. Ortega still lives in the Morales house and occupies
the entire block to this day. Testimony of those whose
property was seized is also widely available and hundreds are
registered with the U.S. Embassy. Other sources include
State Department annual Human Rights Reports and complaints
filed with the CPDH human rights organization.

Cover-up of Daniel,s Son,s Involvement in Fatal Car Accident
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

14. (U) On December 11, 2005, a vehicle owned by the FSLN
struck another vehicle and killed two young men in the early
morning hours. Eyewitnesses reported that the person driving
the FSLN vehicle was Rafael Ortega, Daniel,s son and the
director of FSLN-owned Channel 4, but, in order to protect
the Ortega family, the FSLN pulled a switch and claimed that
another driver was behind the wheel. Police and Prosecutors,
fearing Ortega,s power, refused to investigate the switch,
denying justice to the families of the two victims using
familiar Sandinista cover-up methods.

15. (SBU) Sources: media accounts of the accident and
subsequent Sandinista cover-up efforts; the trial in which
the FSLN and its judges covered up the issue of the real
driver is also a matter of public record.

Ortega and Associates Suspected of Ordering Murder of Carlos
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

16. (U) In February 2004, William Hurtado, an FSLN militant
and former member of the Sandinista state security apparatus,
shot and killed journalist and radio personality Carlos
Guadamuz in Managua. A former Sandinista himself, Guadamuz
had broken with Daniel Ortega and used his radio program to
criticize Ortega, "Nicho: Marenco, and other FSLN leaders
on a wide range of issues, including Zoilamerica,s rape
allegations against Ortega. Although the involvement of
Daniel Ortega and Nicho Marenco in the Guadamuz murder was
never proven in court, the killing was carried out in classic
FSLN assassination-style and removed a thorn in the side of
both men at a time when Marenco was running for Mayor of

17. (SBU) Sources: The falling out between Guadamuz and the
FSLN and his media attacks on Ortega and Marenco are a matter
of public record, as is Guadamuz,s complaint to the police
that he believed the FSLN planned to murder him. It is also a
known fact that Hurtado was a former member of the Sandinista
State Security Directorate.

Contacts with Terrorists
- - - - - - - - - - - - -

18. (U) Daniel Ortega has had close relations with numerous
international terrorist groups for decades. During the
1980s, he invited international terrorists from Italy,
Lebanon, Libya, the Palestinian territories, and Spain to
come to Nicaragua to find safe haven and plan future
terrorist operations. Many of these persons became
Nicaraguan citizens. Since losing power in 1990, Ortega has
continued to maintain his terrorist ties, and has publicly
admitted receiving money from the government of Libya and
other dubious sources for his subsequent presidential

19. (U) In 1984 Daniel Ortega negotiated a deal with
Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar whereby Escobar received
refuge for several months in Nicaragua after he had ordered
the killing of the Colombian Minister of Justice. At the
same time, Escobar,s drug trafficking operation received
Ortega,s approval to land and load airplanes in Nicaragua as
they sought to ship cocaine to the United States. In return,
Ortega and the FSLN received large cash payments from
Escobar. Interior Minister Tomas Borge and his subordinates
went so far as to assist Escobar with the loading and
unloading of drugs onto his airplanes in Nicaragua. The Drug
Enforcement Agency (DEA) managed to place a hidden camera on
one of Escobar,s airplanes and obtained film of Escobar and
Ministry of the Interior officials loading cocaine onto one
of Escobar,s planes at Managua,s international airport. CBS
news later broadcast the film and the entire story of
Escobar-Ortega-FSLN collaboration is related in detail in a
2005 book by Astrid Legarda Martinez: El Verdadero Pablo:
Sangre, Traicion y Muerte (Colombia, Ediciones Dipon).

20. (U) FSLN leaders, including Humberto Ortega, have
admitted publicly that leaders of the Argentine leftist
terrorist group "Los Montoneros" resided in Nicaragua and
engaged in military activities with the FSLN for an extended
period in 1979-1981. Humberto Ortega admitted that Fernando
Vaca Narvaja, the leader of the group, resided in his house
in Managua.

21. (SBU) Sources: Ortega has publicly admitted many of his
terrorist connections, including the fact that he has
received elections money from the government of Libya. Many
1980s terrorists still live in Nicaragua and have acquired
Nicaraguan citizenship (including at least one prominent
member of the Italian Red Brigades), Ortega publicly
associated with many of these individuals in Nicaragua
throughout the 1980s. The Pablo Escobar footage was filmed
June 24, 1984.
